Ellison Undergraduate Scholars Program 2026 at Oxford University
The programme is looking to find outstandingly talented people who have the skills and abilities to contribute significantly to specific projects within our humane endeavours. Exact projects will be determined when students enter the program.
Alongside their studies at the University of Oxford, Ellison Scholars work on cutting-edge EIT projects that aim to tackle global challenges through technology
These research and innovation projects, conducted as summer internships, are central to the Scholars programme and we seek exceptionally talented individuals with strong collaboration skills and the ambition to make a real impact.
The innovation projects aim to solve global problems through technology and are at the centre of gravity for both EIT and the Ellison Scholars programme.
Undergraduate Ellison Scholars will work on a project year-round, alongside their university studies, and full-time during much of the University’s long vacation (i.e. the summer break).
Working shoulder-to-shoulder with world-leading experts to solve real-world problems through technology whilst studying for a fully-funded undergraduate degree at one of the top universities in the world is what sets this scholarship program apart.
Scholars collaborate with each other and with world-leading experts to solve real-world problems, while pursuing a fully-funded undergraduate degree in any discipline at one of the world’s top universities – the University of Oxford. Places on this programme are extremely limited and highly competitive.
We are particularly interested in students with skills in fields such as computer science, artificial intelligence, economics, mathematics, robotics, plant sciences, machine learning, chemistry, biology, engineering, medicine or microbiology.
This list is not exhaustive and strong candidates who believe they have skills that would benefit one of our projects are welcome to apply.
