Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our data team in generating insights that drive business growth and improve customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze customer behavior, investment trends, and operational performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer savings and investment behaviour.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, tailored to their level of technical expertise.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver insights that support decision-making.
- Build statistical models to forecast customer behaviour, investment trends, and business outcomes.
- Use advanced analytics techniques to provide prescriptive recommendations for business optimization.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analyses.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies.
An ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the fintech, banking, or investment industry.
- Proven track record of working with large datasets and generating actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Metabase, Looker or Tableau.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Reporting Line
The job holder will report to the CTO.
Compensation
The starting salary for this role is between NGN750,000.00 – NGN900,000.00 monthly net.
