Data Science Nigeria (DSN) is looking for a talented Freelance Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team and spearhead the creation of a crucial AI Pronunciation Training Platform. Project Overview:

We’re building a web-based AI pronunciation training platform to help freelancers in African countries improve their spoken English. The platform will use voice input, AI feedback, and progress tracking, delivered via web and lightweight WhatsApp/SMS integrations.

This is a 4-week MVP build, using Django (backend), React (frontend), and Vibe Code (Replit) for collaborative, AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy an MVP version of the platform in 4 weeks
• Implement:
  • RolePlay practice module (voice → AI feedback)
  • Feedback dashboard
  • Video lesson display
  • User progress tracker
• Integrate OpenAI GPT-4o, Whisper, or Google Speech-to-Text APIs
• Use Vibe Code (Replit) for collaborative development
• Ensure smooth audio recording/upload, storage, and playback
• Connect WhatsApp/SMS for prompt delivery (Twilio / Meta API)
• Work directly with the product owner to iterate fast and deliver on time

Required Skills:

DSN is seeking a developer with a strong technical foundation and practical experience in relevant technologies:

• Strong Python & Django Experience: Proven expertise in building scalable web applications using the Python Django framework is essential.
• React.js Proficiency: Solid experience with React.js for front-end development is a must. Familiarity with modern React frameworks like Vite or Next.js is highly preferred.
• Comfortable with Vibe Code / Replit Environment: Experience working within online development environments like Vibe Code or Replit demonstrates adaptability and efficiency.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs: Practical experience integrating and working with third-party Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning APIs from providers like OpenAI, Whisper, Google Cloud, etc., is crucial for this role.

Bonus Skills:

• Firebase or Supabase
• Experience working on voice/audio applications
• WhatsApp or Twilio API usage
• EdTech, eLearning, or language platforms experience
