We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Online English Language Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities of the Online English Language Teacher at Letters & Words Integrated Services
- Design and deliver engaging online lessons in reading comprehension, writing, speaking, listening as well as in grammar and vocabulary to students aged 6 – 14.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Tailor lesson plans to student’s needs, learning pace, and interests.
- Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements.
- Utilize interactive learning tools and resources to make lessons fun and engaging.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to help the pupils achieve their learning goals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest curriculum and teaching methods
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
Requirements
- A minimum qualification is a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), preferably with an educational background in English Language
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in online English Language teaching
- Familiarity with Nigerian, British, American, and blended curricula
- Familiarity with the IGCSE, Checkpoint, Cambridge English curriculum, SATs, and SAT is a PLUS.
- Strong English language skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and platforms
- Unrestricted access to or ownership of a PC
- Access to stable power source
- A minimum network speed of 20mbps
