About the Internship
Unilever’s SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) Internship Programme offers aspiring professionals a structured, hands-on introduction to Safety, Health, and Environmental management within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing.
It is designed to develop practical skills and support real SHE improvements at one of Unilever’s manufacturing sites.
Eligibility and Requirements
- A completed degree or qualification in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related science field.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
Interns will support the SHE team with both operational and administrative tasks, such as:
- Reviewing and updating SHE procedures and policies.
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and environmental impact analyses.
- Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis processes.
- Sharing SHE updates through notice boards and team meetings.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of safety training sessions.
- Collecting and reporting SHE performance data and statistics.
- Coordinating SHE-related inspections, hygiene checks, and first-aid box reviews.
- Managing and updating SHE action trackers to ensure task completion.
- Leading two key improvement projects that enhance SHE practices at the site.
- Conducting SHE inductions for contractors and visitors.
